On every à la carte product you will see four color options. Pastel. Bright. Moody. Custom.

They give you a mood to shop by. We design within that lane using the best of what is blooming locally in Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland.

Pastel, Bright, and Moody are preset palettes. You choose the vibe. We choose the stems that fit the season.

Custom is for a very specific color story. If you need a precise combination or a brand match, choose Custom. It costs a bit more because it allows us to order from partner farms when our fields do not have enough in that exact palette or quantity.

Preset Does Not Mean One Look

A preset palette is not a recipe. It is a lane. Your bouquet will always read as the mood you chose, but the exact flowers will shift with the season. Pastel in spring looks very different from Pastel in late summer. Bright in April does not look like Bright in October. Moody in June has a different feel than Moody in September.

That is the beauty of seasonal design. Each palette stays true to its mood while giving you something unique to your moment in time.

When To Choose Custom

Custom is for the couple or client who has a very particular vision. If your heart is set on sage, mauve, and terracotta, or you want white, blush, and a very specific lavender, or you need a brand palette for a corporate event, Custom is the right choice.

This is the one time when a Pinterest board or reference photos can be useful. We do not need exact flower inspiration, but seeing your color range helps us build a plan and source the right stems.

Custom includes extra planning and sourcing across farms to meet a specific brief. That flexibility and time is what the price reflects.
