HI BEAUTIFUL, PLANNING SOMETHING UNFORGETTABLE?

Your wedding flowers should feel like a seasonal storylush, textural, and entirely your own.

We create wedding floral design that’s modern, personality-filled, and unapologetically wild at heart for weddings and celebrations across Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland. From black-tie ballrooms to garden ceremonies, our flowers are 100% locally grown and deeply personal, chosen not from a catalog, but from a season, a story, a feeling.

You won’t find imported roses or generic blooms here. Instead, we’ll bring you into the magical world of local flowers, the unruly tulips, the fluttery ranunculus, the dancing branches you didn’t know you needed, to create something fresh, elegant, and entirely in step with your story.

Whether you’re hosting 300 or just your favorite 30, we’ll bring your vision to life with florals that feel like you. No Pinterest required.

OUR SIGNATURE APPROACH

The Floral Designer

DESIGN ISN’T AN UPGRADE.
IT’S THE WHOLE POINT.

We’re not here to upsell arrangements. We’re here to create atmosphere. To translate feeling into form.

Floral design, when done with care, becomes something more than decor. It’s the thread that ties your day together. From the bouquet you hold to the mood in the room, the way it smells, the way it moves. We don’t start with a catalog or a color palette. We start with you. Your personality. Your venue. The way you want the day to feel. Then we build a floral language that speaks to all of it.

The palette will come. But first, we listen. Then we design something that could only belong to your wedding. Expressive. Emotive. Unmistakably yours.

As floral designers, we think beyond the surface. Every stem is placed with intention. We consider how flowers move, how they catch the light, how texture and form guide the eye and evoke emotion. It’s not about copying trends. It’s about creating something alive. Something that breathes alongside your story, your space, and your guests.

That’s the difference in our wedding flowers. We’re not just filling vases. We’re building something that lives and lingers. Florals that mean something.

The Farmer

NOT A COMPROMISE.
THE SECRET BEHIND REFINED FLORISTRY.

Being your own grower means more than freshness. It means planting with intention, harvesting at just the right moment, and designing with flowers that haven’t been shipped across continents or stored in a cooler for days. But it’s not just what we grow, it’s also who we grow alongside. Whether a bloom comes from our own Fertile Burb beds or from one of the other local Virginia or Maryland flower farms we work closely with, we choose each stem for how it supports the overall feel and flow of your day.

Working this way means we don’t have to cross our fingers hoping a wholesaler pulls through, or unpack boxes of flowers that were out of water for a week. Instead, we spend that time sourcing thoughtfully, choosing flowers that suit your palette, your setting, and the time of year you’re getting married. And when the weather shifts or something doesn’t bloom on schedule, we don’t panic. We adapt. That’s the advantage of working with someone who understands what’s growing when, and how to make it work.

And here’s the real magic: using locally grown flowers means we can design with ingredients that simply don’t ship well. Fragile, fleeting things that wilt in transit or drop their petals at the slightest bump. From delicate cosmos to woody shrubs, perennial bits, and specialty annuals you won’t find in a Pinterest roundup, these are the flowers that make our designs feel alive. The ones that turn heads not because they’re trendy, but because they’re completely unexpected.

WHEN TO BOOK?

For both spring and fall weddings, we recommend booking by August or September the year prior. The earlier you’re on our calendar, the more options we have to grow with your event in mind. Twelve months out is ideal — even earlier is better.

THE FULL-SERVICE EXPERIENCE

OUR FLORAL JOURNEY TOGETHER

From the first conversation to the last petal placed, our design work with you is about more than flowers. It’s about how the whole process feels. We keep it personal, supportive, and straightforward so you can focus on the joy of your day, not the logistics.

01  Getting to Know You

It starts simply: you share your date, and we confirm availability. From there, we send over a short questionnaire and schedule a virtual consultation. That first chat isn’t just about logistics. It’s about getting to know you, your personalities, what makes you light up, and how you want your day to feel.

02  Shaping The Vision

We take what we’ve learned about you and your vision to create a custom proposal with visuals and clear pricing. It’s your chance to see how seasonal, locally grown flowers can reflect not only your style but who you are. Once you feel confident moving forward, you reserve your date with us.

04  The Final Flourish

The week of your wedding or event, we harvest and design with what’s at its peak, creating pieces that feel fresh and true to the season. On the wedding day itself, our team delivers, installs, and transitions ceremony florals into reception features so everything flows seamlessly. And if your event calls for it, we return for strike, handling floral cleanup at the end of the night so you don’t have to think about a thing.

03  Planning and Preparing

Behind the scenes, we’re sourcing and ordering plant material, scheduling harvests, and shaping the design plan. Along the way we check in, and we join you at your rental appointment to align vessels, candles, and linens. Because every season is different, we don’t provide mockups. Instead, we keep things realistic and flexible and use the rental appointment to fine tune details. We are also glad to join your final venue walk-through to help catch any last-minute needs.

DO WE NEED A WEDDING PLANNER TO WORK WITH YOU?

Although not required, we strongly recommend having at least a day of coordinator. For weddings with more than 100 guests, a full service planner makes all the difference in keeping the day seamless and stress free.

IMG_4130.jpeg

DO YOU OFFER SERVICES BEYOND FLORAL DESIGN?

We do. Alongside florals, we offer full event design services, meaning we can be your partner in decisions about overall aesthetic. From custom pieces like escort walls and welcome signs to collaborating with trusted vendors on lighting and draping, we help tie every detail together so your day feels seamless and intentional.

IMG_4130.jpeg

DO YOU DESIGN FOR OTHER EVENTS BESIDES WEDDINGS?

We provide floral design for rehearsal dinners, showers, B’nai Mitzvahs, birthdays, and corporate events. We also take on editorial projects and branding shoots. If you have a creative idea you’d like us to bring to life with flowers, we’d love to hear it.

IMG_4130.jpeg

HOW MUCH SHOULD I BUDGET FOR MY WEDDING FLOWERS?

It is often said that couples should set aside 10 to 12 percent of their overall budget for florals. In reality, every event is different. If you are dreaming of a full, lush look, plan for more. We typically see our couples spend between 10,000 and 15,000 on florals alone, with candles and table décor adding another 3 to 5 percent.

IMG_4130.jpeg

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK?

Plan to book with us for full-service wedding florals at least 12 months out. Because we grow most of what we use, seeds are ordered in summer and planted in fall for the following year. The earlier you book, the more intentional we can be, and since we take only 10 full service weddings a year, dates often fill quickly.

IMG_4130.jpeg

CAN WE MAKE CHANGES AFTER SIGNING THE CONTRACT?

Yes, once your date is reserved, you can make adjustments up to 30 days before your wedding. The only thing we cannot accommodate is a full color palette change, since flowers are already sourced and grown specifically for you. Adding or removing elements is simple, and we’ll guide you through the process.
