The Barn At Brambleton in Ashburn, VA

When a group of local vendors reaches out and says there’s a new venue looking to do a styled shoot, and then you hear the ideas… of course you say yes.

This one gave me full creative freedom, so I followed the energy instead of a plan. Peachy, retro, a little disco, and flowers that moved instead of sitting still. I played with structure here, choosing vessels that felt fun and slightly unexpected, and letting the arrangements feel loose rather than overly composed.

The VW Bus became part of the design itself, with magnet-based florals that could attach directly to the bus and shift placement throughout the day. I love when florals are asked to do something different. The couple was real, relaxed, and genuinely connected, which brought an ease you can’t manufacture. That’s the kind of work I’m always chasing..
